I was born into hate

I did not choose it
It chose me 

At first it hurt intensely
And I hid in plain sight 

And it dragged me down
Too many lows 

With the help of others
I stood back up 

I stand

Released from hate inside
Ready to fight it outside

Aggression is beaten
By compassion and understanding
